I think Square Enix has modernized the original game's turn-based combat system very nicely. If you don't know, let me explain briefly: standart attacks don't usually do much damage to enemies, the purpose of these attacks is to fill the ATB bar. You can make overwhelming attacks or spells using the ATB bar. I tried to make a copy of this system using Unreal Engine 5, I made use of almost all features of GAS and Common UI plugin, but some features are still not completed and the combat camera is very standard. I plan to pursue it in my spare time.
The coding of the project belongs to me, but I bought some artistic assets from the marketplace and used them ready, so I can't give the download link of the project. I hope you understand me.
